Deer season is now upon us with both Archery and Long Gun season ramping up. The cooler mornings have provided some nice sits in the stand thus far . The deer seem to be excited about all the corn that has recently flooded the food plots! The first Dove Season is also gearing up for a Labor Day weekend opener. With a promising forecast and a mild blow from Hurricane Irene, the locals out to the PEE DEE say the birds are plentiful. Early Teal is just around the corner as well so don’t forget to stop but and see the guys at the store for licensing, ammo, decoys, and accessories.

Fishing, Fishin, Fish’On!!!!!!

With the summer heat still lingering it’s hard to believe that another great summer is on it’s way out here at Pawleys Isalnd Outdoors. The ever elusive Tarpon is showing it’s presence and seems to have most of us locals in disarray. While just in time for the LOWCOUNTRY TARPON TOURNAMENT in a couple of weeks, September 16-17, 2011, the tarpon will soon give way to the fall spottail, trout, and flounder bite. Of course, we got you covered with all the favorites from artificial lures and baits to live minnows, crickets, frozen shrimp and finger mullet.
